Yesterday, I realized that now that I have a #Fursuit, I can do #FursuitFriday! I went to Flathead Lake for the first time Wednesday with some other Furries and it was very fun. Kind of disappointed that no strangers approached us to ask for pictures or questions with my head being out for hours.

The one year I went to Anthrocon, somehow I got a room in the Westin. It still didn’t fee convenient, though. You still have like eight hotels and the waterfront to walk between so you better have your tennis/running shoes handy. It’s even somewhat of a slog over to the actual convention center.

Hot take of the day: Stop self-captioning every word on YouTube in your videos. YouTube already has a closed caption function so why do you feel you need to show every word on the screen regardless? If you’re worried about sound, watch the video with some headphones and be done with it.

Kind of surprised there will be a RoA2 tournament at EVO this year. If anything, it feels it got the Nidhogg 2 treatment in that people liked the simplicity of the first game instead of a dolled-up sequel. RoA1 had lack of shields which made the first game stand out in a good way from Smash Bros.

Maybe I am waxing pedantic as it’s the last day of my vacation, but I think I am good with being a hermit until the end of the year now. Being at EDC and seeing all these big DJ names on stage made me realize: We are two sides of the same coin, they have just put in a lot more hours in overhead.
