all the ones that tried to be infinite ai generated fraiser or star trek or whatever never took off because they were too polished which it turns out is not interesting. the infinite ai seinfeld is still up btw and according to wikipedia it only averages 8-9 viewers at any given moment.

techbros are obsessed with this infinite content idea and it just doesnt pan out. when seinfeld forever came out, what kept ppl tuning in at first was seeing how it would screw up. it spawned dozens of imitators & the only one that got viewership was the rlly crude one with ps2 spongebob models

Just emailed the repair shop again to make sure they haven't been doing anything funny to my property during the longer-than-expected wait (and inquire about installments). Anyways, if you'd like to help me finally end this nightmare (before debt gets $3k worse in 5 days), ko-fi.com/ompuco/goal?...

The parents in Children of the Corn never used to let the children live in the corn. "You can't live in that corn," they'd say. And they paid the price

the first space jam was lightning in a bottle. they adapted a shoe commercial into feature length. it opens on a biopic worthy scene of kid mj before transitioning into a bombastic opening credits that declares his costar is bugs bunny. bill murray wanders in and out of the movie at his own volition

hearing went largely unchanged for better or (thankfully) for worse over the past decade the airpods that can adapt to audiogram results have helped a lot in lieu of insurance not covering a hearing aid, but it doesnt do anything for pitch, just eq and amplification. but that is a lot on its own

found the name of the thing that happened to my ears en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplacu...

Wikipedia screenshot. Text reads "Diplacusis, also known as diplacusis binauralis, binauralis disharmonica or interaural pitch difference (IPD), is a hearing disorder whereby a single auditory stimulus is perceived as different pitches between ears. It is typically experienced as a secondary symptom of sensorineural hearing loss, although not all patients with sensorineural hearing loss experience diplacusis or tinnitus. The onset is usually spontaneous and can occur following an acoustic trauma, for example an explosive noise, or in the presence of an ear infection. Sufferers may experience the effect permanently, or it may resolve on its own. Diplacusis can be particularly disruptive to individuals working within fields requiring acute audition, such as musicians, sound engineers or performing artists."
