There's no engineering reason for human shaped robots other than that one actually. And there's so many engineering reasons against. The sooner people realise it has always been true & sexist (olivia.science/ai/#pygmalion) the better. Watch @acollierastro.bsky.social: youtu.be/DRn3-MN92H4 1/2

quickly made up some posters you can print! i choose to believe that most HP fans are ignorant about jo rowling's hatred and if educated, would choose better. i don't think this education can be stretched further online. it's up to us to share our knowledge irl. left is letter, right is A4

handwritten/handwriting font black and white poster that says
"HARRY POTTER FUNDS TRANSPHOBIA. If you support the new HP show, you are directly harming trans people and helping destroy ALL of our human rights. J.K. Rowling hates trans people and funds efforts to criminalize our existence." with a QR code to an advocate article about it. 8.5x11", free to print and distribute

This goes for all art. All mediums. As others have said: it’s not enough to be anti AI art. You also have to be PRO the art you like if you want it to continue to exist. Like indie comics? Buy them. Support the artists. Attend local fairs/cons. Share. Tell others. Leave reviews.

Love that Wendy Carlos's 'Switched on Bach' from 1968 has the title "Trans Electronic Music Production" on the album cover. The clues were there right in the beginning 😊

Scan of the original 1968 cover showing Bach sitting. Later covers show him standing and also include Carlos's name on the front. Both versions have "Trans Electronic...." as the title.

a small showcase of some miscellaneous #coverart #graphicdesign i did :)

$a square image of my vekoN logo with a retro perspective effect. there is fractal lighting and a glitchy texture of some formless lines and pillars. everything's tinted violet and lavender$ a square image of the vekoN logo, colored black with a dissolved red outline. it's rotated vertically and off to the right side. behind is some faint illegible text on a vivid, faded, and manipulated glitch texture

a square cover image. there is a black outline of a square, and inside is a Voronoi diagram and a rectangular barcode accompanied by the text "VEKON SINGLE". behind is a vivid glitch texture tinted crimson, magenta, and cyan. barely visible is the text, "meta morphosis euphoria".

a square image of a low poly, stone-textured hand facing palm out. behind is a black background and yellow VHS-esque text reading, "VEKON TALI TVSHKA". there are some glitch effects, and the image is blurred so it appears like it's displayed on a monitor

oh shit we have advanced search filters now??

A picture of Bluesky's search filter box. A box for "All of these words", which the user has filled in with a word. "None of these words", which Bluesky has suggested "cows pigs". "This exact phrase", which Bluesky has suggested "what's up". "Since" and "Until" fields with date selectors. "Language", "Media" which allows you to only look for posts with photos or video, "Include" which lets you look for posts and/or replies, and "From" allowing you to narrow it to only people you already follow.
