I don't understand the obsession with the foldable phones. Flip phones that flip upward make more sense, and would buy. Folding is either too wide or too thin when closed then its a smaller iPad when open. It's the same with the Pixel, there is only a folding option. Give us a flip option guys...

Welp... back on GNOME. I think a recent power surge caused my computer on sleep mode to break something on KDE. The main /root drive was going into read-only mode after a bit and couldnt launch apps or do anything. Decided I just prefer GNOME in the end, and a Fedora re-install fixed everything.

Man laptop shopping while being a Linux user is kinda annoying. I would love a Frameworks laptop but they're pretty pricey. Almost all the other brands give you no option for No Operation System. You're forced to spend the money on a Windows licence I'm just going to wipe and delete immediately.

In other news, not too long ago I switched my laptop on Fedora from GNOME to the new Cosmic DE. I really, really, like it! Feel like it needs a little polishing yet with animations and tiny little things here and there, but overall it's such a welcome/needed addition to Linux Desktop Environments.

Pretty sure Google Weather uses AI for the forecast. It is so wrong sometimes it's hilarious. Like not the typical "weatherman never gets it right" kinda way either. It can be perfectly sunny out and Google Weather will say it's actively thunder storming out. It never used to be this bad.
