sometime i feel the word disability tax doesnt fully describe the egregious dehumanization disabled folks constantly have to deal with. its the never-ending administrative violence on top of other forms of violence, that makes you physically and mentally unwell.

i havent had anaphylaxis in 8 days which has not happened in 3 years. i've exerted myself for 8 days in a row (speaking for 5 hours straight, in my wheelchair for 4+ hours at a time, showering, etc). truly a miracle. really praying this new medication is not a fluke 😭 cuz if so i can start PT

I've been filing FOIA's for info re: gov. AI use for SNAP & medicaid benefits. Agencies are refusing to turn over records. Wisconsin DHS told me my request would "Significantly impair DHS’s ability to prevent, detect, investigate, fraud, waste, abuse involving public benefit programs ...”. I'm LIVID

need people to understand that caregiving cost minimally $20,000 a year for bare minimum hours a day. it's unaffordable, especially living somewhere like CA where COL is so tremendous. Making $100k is going to barley cut it. ppl stuck on medicaid cant make over a certain amount, the FPL is $39,125.
