Just storage for now. Every room will have some game or comic trinkets. My room has all of my trades/manga/ video games and a good chunk of my toys. Maybe 1/2 way unpacked.

Today’s work out/ arranging the new place is getting 50 short boxes up 27 stairs up into the attic for safe storage. Who needs weights when you got 30lb boxes of good stories.

Queso ruffles are another big gripe. But I’ll def make you a list. I also got people with access to tj promising to get me stuff there too.

Oh damn it’s gonna be a big one. I paid $2.99 for a small can of Pato Sauce and had to drive to Lancaster for it. Cali has it for 95cents at the local Mercado

Donut Level Black Mage @vanivalentine.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Thanks. The Facebook group I joined told me to go back to Cali cause I’ll hate it here in a few months. :( I do miss home, everything is weird here to me but almost everyone I’ve met has been nice so that’s a plus.

I have always wondered what mewtwo tasted like.squirtle is probably a gamier turtle soup. Attic is getting spooky. My child getting some sun on the porch. And it’s back? Or never left Buffalo? Wild.

My night so far , still trying to get used to the east coast and their appalling lack of palm trees and Mexican products I crave

A little help @bernielomax.extranapkins.net @crumblsucks.wyattswickedgoods.com . I got this ball signed anywhere between 1998-2002/3 at the Q. I thought it was Wally Williams but can’t remember . Met him when I was very young and working the bullpen.

Saying goodbye shouldn’t be this hard. Y’all, I’ve had my first real ugly cry since I left my job of 23 years and Jesus does it fucking suck. Tim “ my whale” was not on my bingo card for making me cry first. Wednesday will not be the same. Thank you Tim for everything.

Did another thing yesterday. Who doesn’t wanna smash Snake? Shout out to my sweet tattoo artist Waseem for whipping this up and right after help me sort vintage Pokemon cards for me to sell off.

I’m glad to hear that ya got over it. Sad about the veins

On the funny side I was extremely mello for a few hours at work. Enough that people asked if I was high and to make subscription pulls a little challenging.

Got prescribed a Xanax before my blood work today. I am terrified of needles. & no tattoo needles are different. Honestly I don’t think I needed it if I just keep getting hot people to do the tests or shots. Today’s phlebotomist could take any amount of blood they would like and I wouldn’t of cared

It’s extremely rare when I hang out with Waseem outside of our work places. Tonight we went to a card show and he helped me trade a few cards to get another one for Ian. 2 down 1 to go. Also got lectured about having expensive cards just raw no sleeves and stuff

At exactly 10:15 am I saw my first pair of fingerless gloves of the show. Glad to see con is alive and well.

This weekend is gonna be rough. Lots of fun, lots of running around, seeing people, sorting stuff and memories.

The blank wall had all my original comic art pages mostly Sonic, Mega man and Lil’ Depressed Boy. Still need to take my framed movie posters, framed records and a few art prints down.

011

Donut Level Black Mage @vanivalentine.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I do a bit of both, mostly display them but if they have tiny parts that can be lost I keep that in the boxes. There are some figures I still haven’t opened cause I forgot and just placed them on the shelf 🫠.

010

Donut Level Black Mage @vanivalentine.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

The hall hasn’t been this empty in over a decade. It’s so weird. My books haven’t been in boxes like this since 2007/2008 and living in storage. Statues are dust free and back in their boxes is unreal.

I’m sending it to another store where a certain voice talent might or might not be shopping at that location.

So the last 2 days I’ve been processing games. Pro tip…. Manga digest size bags work perfect for PS1/2 games and fitted graded card sleeves are perfect for loose Sega Genesis games.
