Wie immer wenn meine Routine unterbrochen ist, ist auch der #Lesemonat etwas weniger als gewöhnlich (lediglich zwei neue Bücher, ein instant DNF & ein Komfort-Reread). Ich erwarte auch für den aktuellen Monat nicht allzu viel. Dafür waren alle beendeten Bücher gute Unterhaltung und das zählt mehr.

Abgesehen vom Lesechallenge Klassiker (den ich nicht in die Bewertung einfließen lasse), bleibt der Trend für dieses Jahr bisher sehr positiv. Alles durchschnittlich bis sehr gut. Nur das letzte Buch, das ich im #Lesemonat Februar angefangen habe, zieht sich sehr und ist daher noch nicht dabei.

Neben den Kinderbüchern von meiner Oma, die sie mir als Kind geschenkt hat (etwa genauso alt), sehen die Bücher ausm Schrank regelrecht neu aus ^^' Man sieht halt leider, dass sie von 3 Generationen Kindern gelesen wurden. Da sind Seiten rausgerissen und Leinen und Kleber der Rücken lösen sich auf.

Mal als #Frage: Wie geht ihr mit der Vermeidung von ableistischer Sprache um - wenn es sich um Fremdsprachen handelt? Gibt da zwar auch eindeutige Dinge natürlich, aber vielfach haben Wörter ja teils recht unterschiedlich geprägte Übersetzungen/Bedeutungen?

Hab jetzt zum ersten Mal Bücher im Gefrierfach, hoffe das funktioniert... Hatte bisher nie das Gefühl, dass es nötig war, aber die Bücher, die ich heute aus dem öffentlichen Bücherschrank gefischt habe, sind ca. zwischen 80 und 100 Jahre alt. K.a. wer da die Bibliothek der Großeltern aufgelöst hat.
