I learned a lot of my facial expression processing and body language processing from cartoons and television as a child because cartoons and actors are very emphatic and more obvious in their expression. Because of this I am also very animated irl, people comment on it. A lot.

Understanding the concept of how to tie shoes but not having the fine motor skill/control to develop muscle memory. I thought I had escaped this one but I have 7 pairs of shoes in my daily rotation as an adult and none of them have laces OR the laces are fixed so I don't have to tie them.

Furry mod makers of #SecondLife, how do you guys recolor your skins? I need a good workflow for making multiple color ways, but I haven't figured that out yet.

Begging SL furry creators to show more than just a headshot of the mod they’re advertising. It’s impossible to tell if I want to buy a mod off of just the face markings.

I'm going to say something that feels scary. We need more people to stand up for trans men/masc people. I love my trans sisters, and yes we need to protect the dolls, but we also need more queer people to stand up for us. And we need to start doing it now. (gif for attention) (1/5)

I think someone should make a TADC-inspired place on #SecondLife ... I think the dated jankiness that SL can have would work well for the aesthetic. Some of the mainland areas with their old windlights have that old computer graphics liminal aesthetic going on.

Yeah, I saw. Pretty sure those new accounts joining was not organic or a coincidence. In response to criticizing the co-owner's behavior, the main owner decided to just post about how "wonderful and effective" she is. lmao

The new co-owner is an unpleasant person, there was quite a few new people who joined the server to derail any conversation about the use of AI. They kept posting gifs saying "Triggered", and the new co-owner was encouraging it. No other staff member stepped in to stop the nonsense.

The Bespoke situation is one of the weirdest things I've seen in SL for a while. It's far more than just AI use. It seems to all come down to the new co-owner, as the brand rapidly changed direction the moment she joined. There's a lot of glazing going on, too. Never seen a brand do that before.

I'm in the discord and here's a few screenshots. After this it mostly broke down into people arguing about namecalling on both sides and being really petty. However it didn't START with namecalling, so the torch and pitchfork grabbing gif was petty. I can grab you the whole dang convo if you want.

I'm considering mirroring our SL23B sale on-sim. I can't really say "go check the event out!" because both of our neighboring store stalls there are heavily using AI. There are some really cool things and talented creators there!! but it's buried under AI shops this year and I'm not sure what to do.

What I love about the end of Caine’s character arc and his redemption is how he puts himself and the rest of the characters as equals. Seeing him being a part of their adventures is satisfying.

Part of it I think is because the owner of LeLapeau is also 1/4 owners of BeSpoke as of a few months ago when she left the LeLutka team. Regardless of the AI debate, she has been incredibly rude and unprofessional the entire time and continues to be.
