Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 2hThe old adage of "you won't appreciate something until its taken away" wrt c/u foils. Now take away full art lands for a few sets. The tower lands are the best in YEARS and I don't really like any other full art treatments since unstable. 010
Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 2hIts really interesting that TCGs are so beholden to the printing process but they never decide to own that process themselves. Yes, it is an expensive long term play, but Magic and Pokemon make billions. Their printing issues are such a bottleneck and headache. 020

Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I bought it as bulk on release but the way it was printed made for not a ton of copies I guess, and it doubled in price after the bears in the hobbit. 010
Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Won a bunch of matches tonight but the one I lost was incredibly snowed by how many cards my opponent was drawing and I misplayed out of my windows to win the game. I think this limited format is very fun! 001

Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 25/09/2026What. The. Fuck. I just saw an ad “paid for by the US government” that was basically a TRUMP campaign ad. It was the most fascist shit of course. 003

Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I think it is certainly the type of card where you need to see board states to judge it. Last night someone cast Akromas Will with Spiderpunk on the board. I mentioned it would have been a good time to reproach, as (most) fogs would not work. 000

Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Are we getting special guests in this set? Or is the pair mechanic kind of overshadowing all of that?? Would make sense to have Confidant and Snapcaster be special guests, but I guess we will know if there are any at all after the debut. 000

Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Genuine question considering people’s outrage on zeta being “only 7 cards”. If collectors packs had no commons or uncommons (making them 6 with one being land) would you still buy them? Do the foil bulk common and uncommons add anything to the packs to make people buy them? 000
Greg @uselessend.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Collector boosters are 5 cards (that could possibly be worth more than bulk) for 40 dollars. Many of the commons and uncommons in this lair will be worth considerably more than bulk, and even if they were, it’s a close comparison. 100
