Several states brought suit in order to challenge having to help people with disabilities to live, work, and learn in the least segregated setting possible. It placed an "undue burden" on them. Integration has been the norm for almost 50 years, rather than simply putting people into institutions.

Don't us the "life isn't fair" argument to support the cuts to SNAP. Food banks and pantries can NOT replace SNAP. SNAP provides 9 meals for every 1 that is provided by a pantry.

The U.S. Department of Education reclassified many advanced graduate and clinical programs and removed their professional status. That lowers the federal financial aid that a student can borrow to study for these degrees. (more)

Those who disagree, argue all you want. I know what my lived experience was. Prior to the 1981 tax cuts, the highest tax rate settled at 91% during the 50s and 60s, and then was lowered to 70% in 1965.

This is not a nation governed by anyone's religious values. It is a secular nation where you are free to practice your religion. It doesn't matter what the Pilgrims, Puritans, or early settlers intended. What matters is what the Constitution of the USA says. That is what we live under.
