In general I think AEW would be better off avoiding ex-WWE talents, especially those who were framed at a lower level on WWE programming. There are exceptions (say, Ciampa) who are super talented and were clearly under utilized but I think you’re better off with fresh faces.

You can debate morality as you see it my point is that NFL teams don’t really care if you’re a good person they care if they’re going to get a return on their investment in you. If the car accident feels like a one off vs a pattern of behavior getting high, that’s what they’ll focus on.
