Into a mesh of polymer chains or a polymer sheet. As the paint dries (or cures?) the mesh/sheet shrinks and essentially shrink wraps the miniature. Don't ask me about exact mechanisms I'm not that clever. If someone does have some idea I'd love to know #warmongers #warhammer40k #wahammercommunity

These new paints are bullshit! this pic is from @roguehobbies.bsky.social showing how extreme the self leveling is. My materials science knowledge is very rusty but I have some idea how this could be done. I think the paint contains a monomer attached to the pigment that reacts and crosslink...

I think a Leman Russ. Looks like they reworked it to be a casemate TD/M3 lee crossover with the hull weapon in the turret and the main gun in the hull. I like the idea but its a bit clunky because they kept the Leman Russ track layout stopping the gun from being in a aimable hull turret like the lee

I just had a big sobbing cry over Terry Pratchett. I was explaining the Diskworld to my wife who hasn't read any Pratchett and I just couldn't help choking on my emotions. Loosing him still gets me to this day, no other artist has such an emotional hold over me. He was the best of us.

Terry pratchett, I can't express the depth of emotion I feel for his loss. On par with if not stronger than the feelings I have over my mum's murder.

I know that if he was still with us Britain would be a better place, he was our country's moral core, a furious intellect married to a heart that we all felt. All that in the body of an unassuming little man with a squeaky voice.

I met him a few times when I lived in Somerset, UK and he signed one of my books which was very sweet of him.

I don't know what to say really.

Seems about right. According to GW a space marine out of armour is a head taller than a average 6ft2" guardsman and the armour adds a few inches. Mr double pirate McMohawk is probably a little bit bigger than a standard human so that tracks and muscle mommy machine pistols looks to be right too.

Yup, she stands 18ish" tall without the base. She's technically out of scale based on official sources but I hated how small the cockpit was it was small enough to be a hat for a 28mm mini. So I am scaling all my mechs to '28mm cockpit scale' using a seated titan pilot 3d model as a pilot standin.
