Globally, new HIV infections fell by 42% since 2010.
The progress is even greater in countries like Benin, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Nepal, Rwanda and Zimbabwe, where infections fell by at least 78%, placing them on track towards the goal of a 90% reduction by 2030.
