ISR’s NaNDA has received an $11M National Institute on Aging award to expand its neighborhood data collection by about 30%. Led by Philippa Clarke and Grace Noppert, the project will support new research on respiratory illness, environmental hazards and healthy aging.
Headline reads Neighborhood by Neighborhood: Mapping What Shapes Healthy Aging; text reads NaNDA is expanding national data on how neighborhood conditions affect health as people age; highlighted text reads $11 Million Award from the National Institute on Aging; illustration shows an older couple walking through a neighborhood with trees, a house, a Fresh Foods market, and a map with connected location points; Institute for Social Research and NaNDA appear at the bottom.
