These ratio outcome variables are a plague in the sciences. If your analysis treats 1/2 and 10/20 as the same evidence, then you have discarded uncertainty in the outcome. Model what you measure, not what you construct. Use the denominator as an exposure instead.

A question came up today: is anyone aware of work that combines the use of FIML for fitting SEMs to incomplete panel data (eg, cross-lagged models) when survey weights are also involved for the cases? So, survey-weighted FIML? Surprised to not see much on this. Multiple Imputation not an option.
