Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I'm gonna add another problem to the pile by mentioning that in English grammar, any noun can be used as though it were a verb. Put another way, you can verb any noun. Examples include "It's *raining,*" and "Could you *hand* me that?" So should verbed nouns count as different words? 110

Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 23/09/2026It's been on the games shelf for as long as I can remember. Funnily enough, I think it was there before we even had a 360 (though we did have the original Xbox). Not that it was a particularly long wait before we got a 360. I grew up with the original Halo trilogy. 011

Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Speaking from experience, yeah, that's probably what might happen. 000
Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Hm, that could work. Previously, I'd just made a new object with the sprite I wanted to use, and the creator function was assigned to a variable. And then I'd referred to the variable to manipulate the new object. If that sounds like spaghetti, well, it sure felt like it. 000
Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 17/09/2026True, but I'm wondering what can be done to that sprite afterwards... Possibly through some "dedicated_variable = draw_sprite()" setup. 110

Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 24/08/2026It certainly helps that now I'm doing this in Krita instead of Flash CS4. Krita is less prone to crashing at the least convenient times, and is missing the bizarre behaviors that made Flash tedious and intimidating to use. Makes me more bold to try different things when animating. 000

Uly. Klip. @ulyssesk402.bsky.social · 23/07/2026I didn't find an explicit setting to disable mods, or to "Play with or without mods on startup" like StS 1 had. So I improvised. Unless there's something I'm missing, I'd advise making a Steam collection of your favorite mods (and setting it to unlisted if you prefer). Quick-(un)subscribe. 000
