Happy to help! Also pleased to know I'm not the first to think of it.

Tried getting into Combat Mission Battle for Normandy again over the weekend, as it should scratch my tabletop itch without needing an actual table. I want to like it, I really do, but having to micromanage every unit because the AI doesn't allow them even a scrap of initiative is so very tedious.

I had a dream in which the BBC had started using Dire Straits' Money For Nothing style CGI in its coverage of sporting events, particularly cricket matches, and this had somehow spawned a long thread of terrible puns and dad jokes on here. Suspect I need to get offline for a bit.

Using leftover thread from the puffin kit I've come up with this. Don't really know what it is or what to do with it, but I'm pretty pleased with the effect. I might be able to turn it into a coaster, perhaps. #cross-stitch

Right. According to Hodges and Taylor, Infantry divisions in Italy followed the same marking scheme as those in NW Europe from mid-1943 onwards, so the attached diagram should apply. RAMC field ambulance units would therefore carry a 75, 76, or 77 on Black, and the insignia of the division.
