A personal note of gratitude to the @aahpm.bsky.social Board and staff for the thoughtful gift as I finished my last board meeting, combining my president year (2023-24) and my hometown football fandom (KC). I added AAHPM socks and @shireenheidari.bsky.social’s friendship bracelets for #hapc25. ❤️💛

In palliative care, much of my hospital consult work was educating others on the importance of early consults and the time needed to do them well. These two slides (by Dr. Greer and Dr. Temel) are key in illustrating why: much of the value add requires rapport, and rapport takes time. #hapc25

Hi #hapc25 and #palliative care community; have you heard about Dr. Richard Payne? He was a true pioneer and paved the way for many of us caring underserved patients in #hpm. A pioneer, IDT mentor and so so much more. Let’s learn and celebrate him. www.thehastingscenter.org/news/dr-rich...
