Some facts: the "band" on this record is mostly me, including drums. I spent 5-6 years learning how to play, both on an acoustic kit and an e-kit. The acoustic kit was beyond my capacity to record in a way I liked, so I used an e-kit. It's not entirely quantised, mostly due to impro.

This is the exact kind of reply I am seeing by cis people time and time again in comment sections, usually in videos about neurodivergence (especially aimed at women). You can see how this rhetoric quickly can be opportunistically hijacked by a TERF, or used to justify denying trans healthcare.

This is exactly the reason why I don't identify as nonbinary. I've never had a feeling of gender, I can't think of gender as anything but a social construct. Therefore, I am a woman because I share similar experiences with most women, such as being seen as an easy target for sexual violence. I might not fit the norm and I've been pushed away by other women a few times, enough to know that I'm different. But I don't experience gender dysphoria. I don't relate to the struggles of trans people. And since gender doesn't exist, why would I make a big announcement out of me not fitting into a made up concept? I don't understand nonbinary people, because when they say they don't feel a certain gender, I just assume it is like this for most people. I think people who feel strongly about gender are either an exception to the rule or just very brainwashed by some religion telling them what a male or female human should be. But maybe, all of this time, I've just been too autistic to understand gender. Who knows?
