Garden report 🌱 The little rose had a second flower! Collected some dry green beans and neutered the newer basil — the most prosperous basil plants are eunuchs. Three tomatoes have formed, and baby squirrels are eating the kale. Gave the lavender extra water cause it’s getting crispy.

Garden report 🌱 Staked up the two larger tomato plants. They are fruiting 😍 Green beans are dying back, I wonder what could go in that spot for fall harvest? We have potatoes! Some of the purple ones are extra tiny, I should go through that pile of soil before I plant more sweet potato.

Luna received a collar and tag yesterday, bright pink with a sharp silver bell and heart MIL couldn’t find her on a daily basis, she had to lose stealth mode. Bluebirds, acorn woodpeckers, flycatchers and juncos all nest nearby. But her favorite prey are the alligator lizards.

Garden report 🌱 The broccoli seedlings didn’t make it, and only 1 type of nightshade. Is it chili or tomato? Cannot tell. Carrots and potatoes are popping off, green beans are being nibbled at night but many have reached the height to not get got. Gopher sign by the broccoli, and a giant cat turd!
