Bei 36 Grad Celsius kämpft der Flughafen Hannover gegen drohende Hitzeschäden an der Start- und Landebahn. Um den Flugbetrieb aufrechtzuerhalten, wird die Betonpiste im laufenden Betrieb ununterbrochen bewässert.
Ziel ist es, sogenannte Blow-ups zu verhindern, also Hitzeschäden, bei denen sich Betonplatten durch extreme Temperaturen anheben oder aufbrechen und die Sicherheit des Flugbetriebs gefährden würden.
Präventive Bewässerung ist ein etabliertes Verfahren. Der Flughafen Hannover hat bislang keine Beeinträchtigungen des Flugplans gemeldet.

Watching all James Bond movies wasn't the best idea my fiance and I had. We tried to ignore the racism, sexism and other awful shit but I still don't get how the movies made it to good movies like Casino Royale. A lot of the movies have stories as thin as the bikinis Bondgirls had to wear. Oooff.
