I got an update! "379" runs again! However I need an 80 or 180 watt transformer as I found out quickly that my caboose consumed a lot of power with the 40 watt. Now begins the final phase of renumbering the cab and number board to 379, and gluing the spare class lamps and stack light up top🫡

Today marks the end of my first successful repaint on a O scale car I repainted an old MTH Santa Fe railking wood caboose as the preserved 1937 Missouri-Kansas-Texas wood caboose 835. Now I finally have a caboose to run with my O scale freight cars✅️

As if the bulb on one of 382's marker lights snapping wasn't bad enough now I lost one of them. FFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. Meaning once I disassemble 382, it will run with blind marker lights like on the Hallmark brass H-3a Pacifics. A heavy price for moving the marker lights up and finishing this.

The new Lionel Chicago & Alton 4-4-2 Atlantic from Ericstrains in comparison to a C&A Pacific in its early years with the exact paint scheme. Unfortunately, I could not find any of their 4-4-2s with that scheme. It's a damn good paint scheme for an SP Atlantic!

Should the Age of Steam Roundhouse temporarily disguise Canadian Pacific 1293 as the 1881 in Terror Train 1980? This year does mark the 45th anniversary of the film's release in 1980. 1293 was the locomotive used in the filming in Vermont in 1979.
