In an attempt to have more confidence in the things I produce, I'm going to try to show more of the things I produce. I love photography, but rarely show the photos I take. So here's a photo I took recently on holiday, one that I'm actually really proud of.

Look, for fuck’s sake, humans have been migrating continuously for our entire existence. Every single human in the world is the product of migration. It’s what humans do. There is nothing *more* human. That’s never going to change. Just grow up, get the fuck over it and plan accordingly.

I'm looking for some literature and struggling to know where to start! I want to find literature that talks about who gets to decide how success and effectiveness are defined in policing, poss links to police discretion. Thank you in advance!

Using the 'text-to-speech' function to proofread my PhD thesis is a great idea, and really helps me spot all the tiny grammar errors. It does, however, mean that even before submitting my PhD, I'd have heard every word I wrote, and that's not so fun!

In July I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis. It took 15 years & 100s of GP appointments to be taken seriously enough to be referred to a gynaecologist. No Dr would have given me a medical note to be off school because I was routinely told 'it's normal'. Never mind that any period sucks.
