While Cooperative Extension has long been an asset to rural communities, we know that its full scope and community reach have not always been well understood across higher education. For the last two years, I have served as a member of the advisory group for @nchems.bsky.social's project
The image is a promotional graphic with a split design. On the left side, against a white background, bold black text reads "Cooperative Extension as a Transformative Intermediary in Rural Development" with a green banner at the top stating "New Release." Below this text, there is a dark blue section containing the "NCHEMS" logo, which features a cube icon. The right side of the image features a black-and-white photograph of a man wearing a cap and safety gear, working on industrial machinery. The photo is circular with a teal and orange border, positioned over an orange background.
