Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 01/10/2026A quick post test, also cloudy skies so I've been playing umamusume. 100
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I photographed the Elephant's Trunk nebula over the last 3 nights. The dark nebulosity and sharp structures were very fun to process. #astrophotography #photography #space #astronomy 218538
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Made myself learn FireCapture (before I was using the ASI planetary software a couple years ago) to retry planetary imaging. I’ll work on processing tomorrow most likely. 040
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 26/08/2026M27, the Dumbbell nebula. I shot the nebula in narrowband this year from my driveway. The core is difficult to process due to the long exposures, but I wanted to bring out the faint halo around it. #astrophotography #photography #space #astronomy 0201
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/08/2026It’s tiny and faint, but I saw Uranus and a couple of its moons tonight (probably Titania and Oberon) #astronomy #astrophotography #space 1212
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 22/08/2026A quick test exposure of the Dumbbell nebula from last night. I’ll get to processing my work this weekend 061
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Xoguri eat your heart out. Shoutout to TM Opera O for carrying the team to the finals, and Tamamo for closing it out. Also thank you Doto, you were there too. #umamusume 010
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 01/08/2026A discarded SpaceX rocket will crash into the moon this coming Wednesday, early in the morning (2:30~ ET). The actual rocket won’t be visible from earth but the large plume of debris will. The crash should be visible near the Einstein crater (circled below). #space #astronomy 1299
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 19/07/2026I photographed the Butterfly nebula (IC 1318) over the past 3 nights from my backyard! I had a lot of fun with this one, both in capturing and processing. Nerd details in the alt text. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy #space 26916
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 14/07/2026I know front runners got nerfed last patch but I still think she’s going to be busted for the Leo cup. #umamusume 100
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 14/07/2026New night, clear skies, new project. If you can guess what this target is from this frame I’ll be impressed (no peeking at the alt text) #astrophotography 3160
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 03/07/2026I photographed M5 last month from my driveway. In the uncropped version, you can see an object in the the bottom left that did not follow tracking. I'm not sure what it was, but most likely an asteroid of some kind. If anyone knows feel free to chime in. #astronomy #astrophotography #photography 5132
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/05/2026Markarian's chain of galaxies, as shot from my backyard. This group of galaxies can be easily seen with a telescope just above the constellation Virgo. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #space 1343
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 13/05/2026Photographed the Wasp star cluster last night (NGC 6633). The cluster is about the same size as the moon in the night sky, and can been seen early in the morning this time of year. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #space 1184
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 12/05/2026Turns out I can get a decent few of the southern side of the sky, but not for long with all the trees around. I split my project time as a result. I hope to have one finished over the next couple days. 160
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/04/2026Bode's galaxy and the Cigar galaxy. I spent three nights photographing this pair of galaxies from my driveway using a monochrome camera and filters. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #space 2314
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 21/04/2026Quick WIP again, let’s hope I have enough clear nights to finish it 040
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 09/03/2026At it again. Probably won’t be finished for a couple more nights, but have a WIP of the Christmas Tree nebula 040
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 15/02/2026I photographed the Rosette nebula over the past 3 nights. It was a bit chilly but I'm glad to be back at it, and also glad I got to shoot this before it got too low on the horizon. See alt text for nerd details. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy #space 311519
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 12/02/2026A quick post to let you know I’m not dead. A new project is underway now that it’s not -10 out. If the weather holds I’ll have it finished in a few days. #astrophotography #photography 1323
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 12/01/2026Jupiter is in opposition right now! If it’s clear where you’re at, check it with a telescope, binoculars, or even your naked eye! It should be easy to pick out and much brighter than the stars around it. 020
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/12/2025Merry Christmas everyone. May your holiday be as bright as the Orion nebula! #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #space It was very foggy while shooting this, but I take the clear nights when I can in the winter. 16815
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 21/12/2025I photographed the Horsehead nebula, one of my favorite deep sky objects. I spent two nights photographing this nebula, separated by a month in-between due to cloud cover and snow. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #space 27114
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 29/11/2025Definitely tricky, but here's a version of it. The green from all the hydrogen keeps trying to creep in. 030
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/11/2025I've come a long way from when I tried to photograph it last year. Better equipment does help, but technique and processing do even more. 130
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 25/11/2025The California Nebula, named after the state its shape mimics. It took two nights to photograph this nebula using narrowband filters. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy 17011
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 18/11/2025I photographed the Pleiades star cluster last night. I was able to get much more of the dust surrounding the stars this year. This cluster is easily visible to the naked eye even in light-polluted areas, and looks fantastic through a pair of binoculars. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography 16314
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 12/11/2025I visited the southern hemisphere for the first time last week. Unfortunately, the moon was full and clouds kept rolling in, so I didn't have near the time I'd normally spend, but I did get to photograph the Large Magellanic Cloud! #astrophotography #space #astronomy #photography 3375
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 20/10/2025I spent six hours photographing the Triangulum Galaxy from a local parking lot. I wish light pollution wasn't so terrible here. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #space 310915
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 06/10/2025New eyepiece!! (Of course it’s cloudy though so no testing) 150
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 01/10/2025The Pac-Man nebula. I photographed this nebula from a nearby parking lot, using long exposures over the course of 3 nights. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy 18315
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 30/09/2025I spent 20 hours photographing the Andromeda galaxy, taking long exposures over the course of four nights to create this image. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy 415417
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 18/09/2025The Heart Nebula I spent 10 hours photographing this nebula from a nearby parking lot. #astrophotography #photography #astronomy 817327
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 06/09/2025Apologies for inactivity. I’ve been enjoying #umamusume 0131
Dummy Mage @twoint.bsky.social · 04/09/2025The Lobster Claw nebula. I spent 9 hours photographing this nebula over the course of two nights in narrowband. Processing monochrome is tricky but I think I'm improving. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography 35610
