looking at the National Library of Australia collection of vintage posters and some of these go really hard
Scan of a poster, black background save for a few specks of dust, huge slab serif text:
"The world's had an accident.
Help."
Below, a photo of the Earth, very blue-green; mostly clouds, but the Americas are just barely visible. Two bandaids placed on the Earth form a huge X centered in the Pacific, just east of Peru. Tiny blue text at the bottom of the poster: NASA satellite photo. Produced by the Environment Protection Authority, Victoria.

holy shit i love square root of minus garfield www.mezzacotta.net/garfield/?comic=…
An MS Paint drawn Garfield comic captioned entirely in sitelen pona shows garfield looking happily into a mirror wearing a skirt and red bow, recieving negativity from a vaguely-drawn crowd of people, and then being hugged by Jon and Odie with the trans flag in the background. (A full transcription of the comic in toki pona is at the link)

Ok, ok. Anyone who hasn't played the game _Iberian Gauge_ and doesn't know the rules, I want you to look at the board, and then reply to this post with your best guess at what this chain of symbols in the bottom right of the board means (terrible, overly […] [Original post on critter.cafe]
The Iberian Gauge board. It shows the Iberian Peninsula as a hex grid with some trains on it; some hexes are marked with place names, arrows pointing up, and an increasing bar graph with a green arrow pointing to the right; players have piles of money and a collection of same-coloured cubes; along the left side of the board are coloured slots for cubes to go in; each set of slots has a factory icon, a set of matching coloured trains and its own pile of money; next to these is a track of rectangles with matching coloured disks and labelled amounts of money, and some divisions between rectangles have that bar graph icon on them; running along the top of the board is another track with coloured disks, labelled with another bar graph (but no arrow) and larger amounts of money; in the bottom right there's a red pillar sitting on one of a set of circles connected by lines, each with an icon of a train or a cube on a ribbon in it; and above that is a table showing the train limit, build cost, and lease cost of each type of map hex. (More symbols are in the far bottom right, described in the next image).A closeup of the board. It appears to be a train with a green arrow with a red X on it pointing to a building, followed by a right curly bracket, an increasing bar graph with a red arrow pointing left, a white X, and a factory in a circle attached to a ribbon with a cube on it behind it.

i love wikipedia and i love creative commons the wikipedia page for kasane teto currently has the entirety of BIRDBRAIN by Jamie Paige embedded on it en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kasane_Teto
The media file "BIRDBRAIN (w OK Glass) feat. Kasane Teto.webm" playing on Wikipedia. Kasane Teto dances in a field; the subtitles read "baby i don't know when i'm supposed to stop".
