Blame the media for "instant" election results. The official counting shouldn't stop until every vote is counted. It's just that on election night the media tabulates the probability of the winner. And then "calls it". Then the opposition concedes. It's fucked up and anti-democractic.

Mom and I sat on the couch, held hands, prayed, cried, and celebrated as we watched Artemis II return to Earth and splash down in the Pacific Ocean. We laughed when we realized we’d sat the same way when Apollo 11 returned. I was 9 for that mission and she was 30. Now I’m 65 and she’s 87.
