Believe it or not, the rate of Universal Credit has never been set based on the actual cost of life’s essentials. It’s time for that to change. Our health and wellbeing, independence, ability to work is all dependent on us being able to afford to buy food, pay our bills and travel when we need to.

Today we brought the Jobcentre into Parliament. MPs went through an actor-led experience of the system as it is now, and as it could be, then heard directly from the people who’ve lived it. A Jobcentre built on dignity, not suspicion, is possible. #StopTheStigma #FixTheSystem
