Was speaking with a friend today. We have some opposite views. But we are friends. We decided that the levels of hate that each “side” is carrying takes away from quality life. Requires energy to maintain. We are drawn away from the good. Get To The Good! open.spotify.com/track/06Jazm...

I’ve been agonizing over a new PC build for months. My gaming and streaming box has been on life support. My intent was to build another system. I found the exact spec I wanted at @powergpu.bsky.social. “Pine” arrived and is a triumph. Insane build quality. I couldn’t have done 50% of their quality.

Happy Thanksgiving, #turfsky Whether you’re growing it, mowing it, yelling at it, or pondering every detail, I’m grateful for this wild, green family we’ve built. Here’s to long hours, short cuts, and the endless pursuit of perfection. #GrassGratitude

I’ve been using the Oura Ring for almost a month. And it is an exceptional tool. It gives me crazy good information that I’ve been using to make some changes. Sleep being a big one. Leading to stress management. Worth checking out.

I read this every year at Thanksgiving. And hope to live in this kind of gratitude.

My vintage SM7b is a workhorse that serves me well. Good tools matter.

I know @johnkaminski.bsky.social did ask me this question. But it’s still a good one. I intend to talk about the things that make me Dave Wilber. But as opposed to the other site, I intend to be positive and just plain fun. To celebrate being in the best profession with the best people.

One way I am making myself go to Bluesky before X is that I put BS on my home screen where X used to be and moved X to my social media folder. Highly recommended if you want to commit to BS to give it a fair chance.

New on the ATC website, a note about calculating the temperature-based growth potential (GP) and a reminder that the equations for Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales use different constants in the equations. www.asianturfgrass.com/post/calcula...

Calculating GP | Asian Turfgrass Center

The PACE Turf temperature-based growth potential, or GP, is a utility function that takes the input of average air temperature, and gives an output of GP on a scale of 0 to 1, or 0 to 100%.

I've been working with my new Oura ring for about two weeks now. Its been a game changer as far as how I look at sleep and stress and movement. Its not a gimmick. I was worried that it might be. Anyone else using this tech? #oura
