Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

I always recommend getting one of those extra large moving boxes and a box of crayons and plopping the lil tyke in it. Hours of distraction. Just uhh, make sure he doesnt eat *all* the crayons. Little scamp he is.

Checking out the Witcher 3 Remaster today, see if it sucks me back into a longer playthrough. Much as I find most remasters to be unnecessary money grabs, you can't really make that argument here. This is purely in the consumer's favor.

This is ONE WALK worth of fur that gets in the velcro. This will be non-functional in a few uses without tedious cleaning every time. So add a snap below. The body strap I stitch-ripped the velcro off and used some waistband elastic to made it resizable to account for winter coat.

Velcro on a dog's raincoat that is coated in gray fur with a snap below it on the fabric. Tug's hand is holding it gently in the same manner that we should carefully hold and support minority groups who are systematically being squashed by fascist governments.

Another set of snaps on a pink dog's raincoat with an elastic waistband used as a bridge between the sides. The raincoat is lined with netting and keeps the water off of Penny, protecting her from becoming swamped in the same manner we need to protect the younger generations from becoming swamped in the wallowing depths of social media, the dangers of which are manifold and uncontested in a large swath of the world.

As I modify Penny's raincoat, I am reminded of a fairly mandatory tool to keep around if you have an exceptionally furry friend. Anything that uses a hook/loop(velcro) closure gets a snap close instead. Couple bucks for a bag of size 16 snaps and this little jig. USED IT SO MANY TIMES

A snap fastener jig for size 15 and 16 snaps. Three arms to hold the different pieces together are shown, similar to the three arms of the US government who are supposed to work together like this jig but instead find themselves mired in fear mongering, hate, and an aggressive pursuit of quashing any and all possible rights for anyone that isnt as pale as the snow.

As much as I absolutely love Lies of Locke Lamora and tell anyone to read it, I also follow that with 'dont bother with the other books'. He writes such a convincing love lost scoundrel Locke that when he actually reunites, it falls so flat you wonder if the author ever spoke aloud before.

cynical take - 1mil at 70USD is 70 mil. chop off 30% for platform fees, now we're 49mil. Assume the publisher is 100% recoup, that's 9 mil. Then the split after... let's be GENEROUS and say 50/50. Final income for 1mil sales is: * $4.5mil for studio * $44.5mil for pub * $21mil for platform holders
