Funny thing is, apart from basically all of In the Pale Moonlight I can't think of a better scene of Trek that doesn't involve Nog. His post-injury scenes on AR-558 and all of It's Only A Paper Moon are peak Trek too

Herta should make a difference there, although that does Hauger a huge disservice. In theory helping Herta doesn't harm Kirkwood, but I guess any distraction is a distraction. Making a longer term alliance might be smart though with 2028 and the new car on the horizon. Even data is critical then.
