Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 46mI was pleasantly surprised how approachable GameMaker is. I think 16 years old me would've loved it very much. I think I can recommend it to anybody how starting out programming. :) 210

Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 14hWhat I like about not using LLM-based tools is writing code is so tedious you are looking for solutions to write less code or no code at all and you usually find them. Which improves your project dramatically in a longer run. 619113
Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 29/09/2026I'm at the point of Jai meta-programming where I'm considering to code generate Enums out of Photoshop file layers at compile time and it doesn't sound that crazy or even that difficult. 4450
Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 29/09/2026The way I think of it is grifters like this always existed way before LLM-based tools. Computer-illiterate people were always clapping to them. We always knew they are grifter, and we know it now. The life goes on as usual. 1112

Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I think of them as an operation provided by some weird hardware you have to interface with. You know how some hardware provides you an operation that does A+B*X in one instruction? (You just have to specify A, B, and X). Each row of the matrix describes how to modify each component of your vector. 110
Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 28/09/2026If I learnt anything from writing my own software rendered 3D engine it's that matrices are just a way to encode a bunch of vector operations. You don't even have to use them. You can just do these operations directly. But it's a nice way to compactly represent them. 230

Тsфdiиg @tsoding.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Man the word "democratize" has been abused so much you can probably use it for anything now! "Why did you steal my lunch?" "I democratized food you Luddite!" 2943
