I am discovering vbridger and learning stuff! Oh my god! It's complicated! I am very good at following tutorials but having trouble intuiting the reasoning behind the rules provided. It's gonna take some time for my to figure it all out but this is already looking so good!

Background I drew this past month for the stinker draw date over in BasilWoof and BooTheRat's discord server community. The stinkers voted for a fancy train ride, so I delivered! Stinky Hollow is a special place <3 @stinkerdrawdate.bsky.social

An early 1900's style fancy train interior view. Perspective is a bit forced, looking down the middle aisle with windows and rows of seats on either side. There are poles for hanging on to and a serving cart with goodies on it in the middle. There is a set of double doors at the back.

Throwback to this! Several years ago I was going to write and illustrate a book of dragons. I'd still like to! Eventually. Will revisit this and change it sometime. I have different ideas for how I would approach it now but it's still fun to look at.

The Lopdragon
(Drake Lopicus)
A member of the Nonalatum family (wingless dragons), this small but spunky creature has more energy than it knows what to do with. As hatchlings they are born with exceptionally long ears, which they can use to fly. An excited baby lopdragon can flap their ears with enough force to reach the height of a four-story building. This is probably a defense mechanism to protect them from predators. They grow into their ears as they age and eventually lose this ability. Adults may still flap their ears when excited though!
Adult lopdragons are around the same height as a human. They walk mostly on two legs, though I have observed them dropping onto all fours to run. They come in a wide variety of shapes and features: no two are alike. They can also be just about every color imaginable: white, brown, pink, blue, even rainbow!
Lopdragons are gregarious but also capricious in nature. One moment they are cuddly and affectionate, and the next they are biting you and wanting to play! Most have very sharp fangs like a kitten. Small but painful.
I’ve spent enough time around lopdragons to determine that they favor no specific magical element, nor are they especially magically inclined; Some don’t appear to be magical at all, or perhaps disinterested in using it. Some will breathe fire like your standard dragon. I have also witnessed a unique lopdragon blowing pink bubbles; Upon bursting, they either cause painful blisters, or have a delightful fruity smell depending on the drake’s mood.

I think this is good enough for now! Wanted to explore what movement would look like for this guy if he moved at full speed. I'm happy with the tail movement. Definitely have more ideas for this creature for the future.

I want to tell the most self indulgent story possible. I just don’t know if I’ll make it a comic or a written novel. If I did a comic it would probably take me like 30 years to complete lmfao. I guess I’d better get started 🤣

My biggest advice for youngsters: take pictures of the places that matter to you. Your home, your bedroom, your classrooms, the stores you frequent, etc. You'll probably have plenty of pictures of the people in your life, but the spaces change and disappear, and they're a wonder to revisit.

This is going to be animated when I'm done with it, but I just wanted to share what I have so far!

a hillside with a pink blanket on it and a tall tree with yellow leaves overhead. There are purple flowers in the foreground. In the distance there are mountains and more rolling hills full of purple flowers and other yellow trees.

Is there a program like after effects that isn’t by adobe? Hitting limitations with live2D that I know could be easily done in AE but absolutely not wanting to give that evil company any of my money.

I've got a little more I want to do with these guys but I drew them the other day and wanted to share. This creature is called a Leonix (rhymes with Phoenix)

2 big cats with wings on the forelegs and feathered tails. One is purple with a yellow underbelly. The other is black with a grey underbelly. They have spots on their coats similar to a clouded leopard. They also have fangs and tufted ears. The text above the purple one says "Summer coat" and the text above the black one says "Winter Coat"

Been feeling extremely nostalgic for the 90’s and Y2K lately. But looking how different the world is now and feeling a little upset by it. Like am I just old and turning into a curmudgeon or are things kind of… dystopian almost? Makes my stomach churn a bit. Can’t figure out what this emotion is.

Getting back to my bread and butter sort of creating, which is making up animals and writing lore about them. Eventually you'll all get to see what this is really for but please enjoy Fragrazelle and Vionix (pronounced vee-nix, rhymes with phoenix).

It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

I’m desperately trying to squeeze in a couple more attacks for art fight and my son is like “No, Mumma. Come in the living room. I’m building a house.” He absolutely requires me to watch him play with his magnet tiles and it’s very adorable. I cannot say no 😭
