For something completely different than previous tracks, this is a very lovely cover collab between @elizarickman.bsky.social and @unwoman.com. They harmonize beautifully and of course there is cello! elizarickman.bandcamp.com/track/invisi...

A synth-heavy groovy single from Amelia Arsenic. I love basically everything she does. It makes me move my butt. Or my head if my butt is in a chair. ameliaarsenic.bandcamp.com/track/rave-t...

Had a big surprise home expense today so I was unable to fully celebrate Bandcamp Friday, but I did get a few new singles.

I am about halfway through Mood Machine by Liz Pelly and the stuff about commissioned works for Spotify playlists is absolutely horrifying.

If the people behind an album can’t be bothered to invest more than a few seconds into their artwork, how dare they expect us to spend our time listening to it?

This Sunday The Night Garden returns - ambient, new age, folk, post rock, ethereal, dreampop, and all the chill vibes. 9 pm CDT on twitch.tv/DJellafine

A flyer with a blue night sky, with a full moon and clouds., and a vintage illustration of flowers and dark green leaves in transparent overlay. A flock of geese fly in a "V" on the left side of the image, with a group of five larger geese in the middle, across the moon. All the images are layered with varying transparency to create a hazy and dreamy effect. The text across the top reads: "The Night Garden." Below that: "ambient. ethereal. downtempo. post rock." Towards the bottom reads "Sunday Sept 27, 9 pm CST; twitch.tv/DJellafine"

Thanks! Btw your set was very fun!

Overall it went well! I absolutely need more looping practice but it would appear I’m now proficient enough in basics that I can hold things down even if I am slightly rusty. So that is good for my confidence. The more I practice, the more interesting the loops will become. That‘s the goal, anyway.

I was away from my looper pedal while on vacation but did still practice a few things while I was gone, though not a lot. Anyway… I feel good enough to start my set tomorrow getting back into looping and then will switch to acoustic for lesson work practice. It is a bit scary but I'm sure I’ll live.

I didn‘t have regular lessons in Aug so I decided to put lesson work on hold and dive into a looping course I’d bought like 4 years ago. Got enough course work in (on electric cello) that I felt ok enough to practice looping on stream before vacation.

Doing a raid train fundraiser on Twitch from noon-2pm CDT. I’ve been a little nervous about it since I am coming back from a 2 week trip where I did not practice cello much. But did some prep tonight and feel more ready now.
