Honored to meet esteemed pathologist Dr. Neal Van Alfen, who stopped by for a quick visit this week. Dr. Van Alfen was hired at the CT Ag Expt. Station 54 years ago via a surprise unsolicited offer letter from Jim Horsfall! He went on to great things, but said he had many fond memories here.
