I still maintain things like “Real Genius” where “cool applied science for fun is used for unexpected but totally foreseeable evil” should be required but that feels hollow now. Plenty of tech people seem to know exactly what they are doing and don’t care. I’m not sure it’s a dupe anymore.

Not weather per se but seasonal, and can affect the weather. Each season ties to an elemental plane having a thinner separation with the equinoxes and solstices being the thinnest. In addition, Fairy corresponds with summer (along with Fire) and Death corresponds with Winter.

I remember in high school we had to rush everything post WWII to the Vietnam war (and ended there) in American history. World history maybe ended at WWII/early Cold War? And that was after content outside of “western” history that wasn’t ancient, colonial, or modern was basically skipped.

because this was in the “print a map from Mapquest” days and also most businesses on the main road would accept my lily white self but my gf at the time and her brother were warned to duck down in the car. So yeah, “Heritage Walk” makes me hope these people are stupid and not a bait and switch.

Having been to Burkittsville because of an ex’s family member living there… I read “heritage” in the way that people who follow that word with “not hate” use it. In the early 2000s, that place was still clearly segregated, had Confederate flag displays, and only I could ask for directions
