A slightly larger cousin of Asia's velociraptor left this track in soft mud around 105 million years ago.

Sand deposits filled the impressions after the dinosaur scampered by, protecting the tracks from washing away.

The fossils visible here were tilted by uplift and exposed by erosion.

The track is long gone and a sandy cast of the print protrudes from the overhanging ledge.

Raptor tracks are rare. This site is one of only 2 raptor track sites in the United States."
