I don't consume enough horror media to know what "real horror" actually is, but calling it Horror Lite™ feels like a fun way to put it. "Superficial horror" might be accurate: just scratching the surface of horror but not diving all in? I wouldn't take it to mean it's a bad thing necessarily

In TTRPGs I tend to be more comfortable with horror elements than in other mediums, because I feel more in control of the situation and I have other people around me experiencing the same thing, so for me, I tend to not get scared playing TTRPGs, just a lil spooked! I like it lol
