Mine and @alexsgamingcorner.bsky.social new characters 👀 Half elf siblings and their respective partners. The boys are mine, the dwarf fella and the guy in black and silver.

From left to right, a fancily dressed dwarf with a wide-collared shirt exposing his chest, a black haired half elf in a golden dress, a black haired half elf man in long black robes and silvery metal plate gauntlets that go all the way up to his shoulders and scale armor around his neck, looking embarrassed, and a small and pink halfling-sized tiefling woman with iridescent hair and dragonfly wings wearing a white dress, looking shy.

So I wanna share my new Daggerheart PC, Fiorella Rossetti 💚 She's mixed ancestry goblin/earthkin, and she is a witch! The setting is inspired partially by the Italian countryside, so of course I 100% named my half-goblin "Rossetti", because that's just too perfect. Art by @trinketfrog.bsky.social!

Artwork of a Daggerheart character: a goblin-earthkin witch named Fiorella. She has pale green skin, amber-golden eyes and very large batlike ears. Her hair is brown, shoulder length, and curly. She is sprouting poppies from her hair and skin, and moss and dirt is part of her arms. She wears a burnt orange and forest green dress partially inspired by Italian Renaissance style.

Ssssso I'm working on a visual novel as a solo dev. 😳 It won't be too long or too complicated, but I'm still going to give myself around two years to finish it if I can work on it full-time, which isn't yet decided. But... I'm excited. Naturally, no AI will be used in any part of the development.

A waist-up piece of portrait art of a buxom young woman with curly red hair that comes to her midback. She has blue eyes, and a dazed, dreamy expression on her face. Monarch butterflies flutter around her head, as well as decorate her bodice. A fox like piece of embroidery is at the center of the bodice as well. A dark skinned drow elf wearing white fur. His eyes are gold and blue, the background is a starry sky.

A blond man sitting on an ottoman next to a beautiful woman. He is leaning back onto her lap and she pets his hair.

A young man with scars on his arm, as if from a wild animal. His left arm is tattooed with different shapes, his hair is brown with a lighter streak at the front. His eyes are blazing orange and he's wearing a plain tank top and pants in the first picture and in the second he also has a green coat on.

I'm so sick of seeing AI disclaimers like this. The solution to not having the budget for voice acting isn't to use AI, it's to not have voice acting at all! Games don't need VO to be good! By jamming in slopvoices, you're not making your game better, you're making it worse and reprehensible!

A Steam AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI-generated voiceovers for ingame characters. This is a indie no-budget production. Sorry :-'(
