There were so many Dracula movies I didn’t get to last year, I’m bringing back DRACULA as the theme again this year for my Halloween Horror Movie watch. Now that I’ve hit the two sort of pinnacle classic Draculas, Lugosi and Lee, I am going chronologically on into the 1970s. Now playing: Blacula!

Well I picked a terrible day to walk by a pet cemetery. I am sobbing sitting on a bench looking at people who have, for over 130 years, loved small animals so much they wanted others to know about it. Whenever I think humanity is a waste, I will have to remember this place.

I have never liked kids nor been a fan of being around them. It means I’m often around others like me but who HATE children. It is supremely uncomfortable. Kids deserve to exist! Without being harassed for just existing!

Five years ago this week, I said goodbye to the only dog I’ve ever had. I didn’t remember it was this week until my baby sister, who was so kind as to drive me to the appointment where we put him to sleep, told me she was thinking of me. He’s now been gone longer than I had him. RIP my little man.

The world’s sweetest senior Chihuahua is cuddled up to by a tiny gray and white kitten.

So I saw Primetime, and I am ready to distill my thoughts. The movie is a mess. It feels like Oscar-bait because it is, but it doesn’t really commit to what it is doing or appreciating the irony of its existence. I think Robert Pattinson is good, but Skyler Gisondo steals the show.

I just love being accused of “only being in it for the money” as a veterinarian. Sir, if I were in this for the money, I would be a physician. I get paid 1/4 what they do, have to know about more species, and I don’t have insurance helping most of my patients. I’m trying to keep costs down…

My sisters with kids know I’m not the “kid” auntie. I actually kick ass as the auntie to teenagers but that’s another story. Anyway, my sister with a 3-year-old is coming to visit and my other sister is going to watch kid so mom-sister and I can drink and go to the movies. Life is good!
