The fun thing about running SteamOS is, when something goes wrong, I get to play the game of: - Is this a Linux problem? - Is this a SteamOS problem? - is this a hardware problem?

For nearly two years, I've been investigating a pattern of ominous legal letters sent to journalists by defamation counsel representing Bobby Kotick. That investigation is finally live. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwp...

Marvel Rivals has ignited something in my head, and it’s causing me to obsess over Black Cat. Like, I wish the Rivals lore was that Black Cat and Spider-man were in a relationship. I find myself thinking “Brand New Day would have been a great movie to introduce Black Cat as his love interest”

I got off work early for my birthday. If leaving at 4PM when you’ve been there since 3PM yesterday means I left early.

So for Pokemon Go’s 10 anniversary, they recreated the Mewtwo fight in Times Square from the original trailer. Even going as far as to remove the Mewtwo statue in one of the Pokemon Centres in Japan.

When your boss doesn’t understand “final picture lock” and wants to change a colour graded transition so you need to figure out the best way to do that with a mixed timeline.

Welp, I got one more month of the horror that is my current work schedule left. That is if everything goes right I guess. Heres the hour I worked the last four weeks. Mind you this doesn’t include lunch or the hourish commute each way.

Tricky Love @trickylove.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

This just gives me more time to get my finances in order… is why I will tell myself.

000

Tricky Love @trickylove.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

The worst thing about my long shifts are the commutes home. Buses always arrive one minute before I get to the stop or 30 minutes after I get there. Apps just tell me 10 minutes away for 30 minutes as 2 out of service buses go by.

Tricky Love @trickylove.bsky.social · 06/06/2026

One week down… 7 more to go… and I’m not working weekends this week. This also doesn’t include lunch breaks or commute time.

I see the current trending news in Ontario, Canada: The Police are allowed to use spyware to remote into and take over your phone. And Doug Ford doesn’t want you to know about it. I see the current trending news in the USA: you always have to out do us every day, huh America?!

I’m on episode 4 season 2 of the One Piece Live Action but at least for now, if you don’t want any spoilers, you’ll need to watch up to episode 958. But if you’re okay with hearing the name of something they explain in the anime the first time you hear it, you only need to watch up to episode 663.
