honestly the most depressing thing to me is that we have to talk about this again and again and again and again and again. how to teach men to have human feelings, how to get people to believe us

also: a reminder that restorative justice is definitionally within the control of the person who has been harmed and not ANYONE ELSE. it cannot be a route chosen for them, and they have full control over the process. otherwise it’s just sparkling mediation

survivors are also frequently encouraged to "speak out" and "start conversations" in order to "change the world" but we receive nothing but harrassment, suspicion, and hate for doing so. i grieve so often for the girl i was during MeToo who truly believed that things were soon to get better.

survivors of sexual violence are constantly asked to sacrifice our safety and wellbeing on the off chance that people who've committed literal torture might at some point have had a change of heart. when will our safety, wellbeing, dreams, aspirations, futures, or peace of mind matter?

Something I do wanna point out, since it bears repeating again: Do not even pirate this (be it illegal streaming, downloading, etc.), as companies track these numbers, and check for engagements, too. These numbers still matter, as it shows the property is "healthy". So don't do that.

Check for where you can get the Nuvaxovid shot on their website. Remember, you need to specifically ASK your pharmacist for this one AND make sure you personally look at the vial before they inject you. Some pharms WILL give any shot thinking they're equivalent. www.nuvaxovid.com/vaccine-loca...

There's evidence your COVID vax will be more effective if done alone, even if the flu vax doesn't appear to be affected. As a reminder, vaccines don't 100% prevent infection, so masking is still the best ride-along protection method, especially since we want to protect people who can't get vaccines

trickssi, C.A. @ Kinshokucon @trickssi.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Our local Kroger has Nuvaxovid (formerly Novavax, the non-mRNA vaccine) in stock, so we're getting it today! Definitely recommend for its distinct lack of side effects and longer protection period. If you can, get your COVID shot first and WAIT to get your flu shot until mid/late October.

Did the math for due diligence in today's update; it's actually 15 TIMES LONGER than their harassment policy. Quick question, do you think Meta Glasses will be used to ever, oh, idk, maybe harass someone? Follow up, why do you so obviously want to further marginalize survivors of sexual violence?

LRP saying "oh I never liked their work" is the absolute last thing survivors need to hear after a disclosure. It is so self centered to bring your opinions up as relevant to trauma and genuinely has a twinge of victim blaming beside the very harmful 'bad people can't make good art" implication.
