"FLEE ALL YOU WANT, MORTAL MUTANT. YOU ARE ONLY PROLONGING THE INEVITABLE!"

The Gaunt Gargantuan Ghoul growled ghastly in pursuit of the indomitable Belial absconding its domains with shivering haste, flooding the crumbling cyclopean hall of columns with miasmic fumes to drain the life out of the Sanguine Goblin. Savoring his succulent vigor and grace by gnashing its lipless mandibles cravingly, a deafening grinding of bone crushing teeth from a bile dripping maw that frightens further the already horrified Belial mutant, his polearms all corroded by the fetid fog that rust metal and rot flesh.

Surpassing the voracious legless Demon in speed and agility, the cacophony of phantasmagoric moans and bone snapping spoil his sense of direction, quickly losing the trace of his companions who all got pulled by the malignant orbit of their own dreadful Demons.

"The Baneful Flame remembers, oh Sanguine Belial, and you are branded by that hand you brandish so proudly. Your soul is scarred by scorch just like my land was devastated by that sorcerous scourge. Your oppressors! Your magicians! Defilers of the fair sovereigns of these lands with their barbarous powers! Repent! Surrender your flesh and blood to me! Let me liberate your errant soul from that mutated prison of a body!"

Rumbling ruinous fires engulfed the vast abyssal halls, chasing both the intrepid Slayer and its gigantic grotesque predator, desperately looking for a way out of the flame tide's trajectory. Crooked clawed hands of the gnarly giant nearly grasping at Deadhand with a radiated touch, before fending then away with his cleaver.

The advent of the Waking Century in the Dismal Frontier has come with the rise of a particular kind of Demon Slayer. Opportunistic problem solvers, brokers and networkers of Dismalia's underbelly. Tempered by suffering and avarice, hunting by their own terms as thieves of fate. The Indomitable Knave

The indomitable knavish arsenal of Vrak Deadhand, code named the VRAKSENAL. Ultimate equipment load out for extremely hellish environments and intensive hunting campaigns that require a near replenishing of weaponry after they are warped and broken against the hide of chimeric horrors. Despite his diminutive size, the Sanguine Belial is deceptively stronger, as long as he maintains an unhealthy diet of intoxicant ichor Elixirs, spiced up for flavor that puts his mind at edge the edge of mortality.

Prying into his lost memories that flash back into his frontal brain matter, from electrical signals long lost during regeneration of his brains during the most grievous of wounds to the noggin. In order to tap into his repertoire of seemingly infinite intrepid feats of finesse, Vrak Deadhand needs to be at a constant near death experience when Hunting, risking himself while always pulling out of the maws of certain doom at the last moment, the closer the better. As a stream of techniques comes flowing back into short term memory like the secretions of his glands.

An euphorically ecstatic process, for he delights in experience his entire life in every moment. Such is why he seems to have an otherwise unexplained uncanny affinity with so many variants of pole arms and martial stances. In order to increase his chances of survival, he accumulates luck in the form of enchanted charms and talismans that he keeps on his person an weapons at most times when Hunting, or displayed in his precious manor back at Phobos. He became a vortex of good fortune, absorbing the luck of others to empower his own self destructive slaying style.

The hunt for the scourging serpent was arduously appalling but spectacular nonetheless. The hired muscle of the Indomitable Goblin Mutant carved and mauled through the scales of the ornate ophidian, its head severed, perfect for the triumphant posing. Immortalized & framed, now he only needed to hang it on his manor, once one of the Hunters in the group painted it from memory. The inscription on the frame reciting the words that echoed in the dunes by twilight in the Dismal Lands.

"Lick your blades, my wretched kin! Turn your faces upwards to the sanguine skies! Take the blood, pick the bones, clip the claws and the horns! You'll live to prowl the Dismal Frontier another day, dear killers! Let's haul this gracious fiend and lay it on the Butcher's table! He'll make a fortune out of it!"

Shouted the Sanguine Belial, gazing at the coming dawn, right on queue for their retreat to the citadel. Flag dyed in his blood for the wardens of the walls to recognize them as the caravan of the Butcher's Company, returning from work.

You may ask "who is he posing for?". The answer is a dozen exhausted Hunters that did most of the killing. Not for nothing, his weapons are pristine and not stained.

One would behold this tense prelude to pain that the Indomitable Knave is about to experience, arrogantly in respite while in the middle of a Hunt for a Horneye Behemoth that's about to demolish his one high ground and pummel him relentlessly. But in the goblinoid's mind, he is hyper aware of the present moment and is already confident that his luck will make him thrive and survive the coming charge of the fiend, even if the endurance of torturous mutilation is inevitable, he wouldn't have it any other way. His Sanguine mutations shall regrow any natural wounding that comes out of this chosen lifestyle, which determines his hunting style, one of deceptively relaxed disposition against the dangers that Demons bring forth.

The Indomitable Knave embodies the intrepidity of Goblin's Guile, an attribute given to Grotesque Demons that crave carrion and scavenge the wastes opportunistically, biding their time with skulking tactics before pouncing ruthlessly upon their exhausted prey. Unburdened by his accumulation of fortune, he is the luckiest Belial mutant in all of Dismalia, always seeking to increase his charm by cutting off the most peculiar parts of Demons and taking them to his most trusted hexers. The incantations imbuing all of his gnarly talismans absorb the luck out of other beings, Demons and kindred alike, thus making Vrak a being hard to kill but one that attracts suffering and death wherever he trails.

He has nothing in his past weighting him, for he exists exclusively in the present. He disregards the future because the moment is the most enriching essence of life, passionately empowered by a reckless impulse to break through any limiters that would make other Hunters doubt and stumble. Vrak Deadhand's past is a mystery, one that he never cared about unfolding and would rather carve his own destiny.

The Indomitable Knave, luckiest Demon Hunter in all of the Dismal Lands, organized a harrowing heist at the hellish fortress of the Chimeric Conqueror where its abominable advisor orchestrates their ravaging rampage across Dismalia from the comfort of a spire of marrow. The Devil Baron of the Six Eyed Royalty, having taken refuge amidst the ranks of the Tyrant Samiginus, coveting and pondering a precariously precious INFERNACLE. An artifact of arcane power unparalleled, concealed within the maw of its torso.

Climbing the marrow spire atop the burning bastion was no easy task yet crawling his way down and out will be the true ordeal for the Indomitable Knave who awaits predatorily and patiently for the Regal Devil to pass through the gates of his chambers. With the aid of his reanimated Demon Limb of a Mount, the Dead Hand Crawler, tamed through necromantic rituals and some alchemical transfusions for blood commanding its lifeless nerves, made the infiltration a smooth affair. Wasting no energy in traversing the halls infested with raging Demons awaiting for their next raid. This is but a simple extraction, thievery of the finest quality. One swing, one snatching move to grasp the ethereal relic and only one way out through an alerted Pandemonium.

Goblin's Guile shall lead the way, fortune be on his side after kissing and pleading to the Brazen Witch Hand hanging from his neck. Little did the Indomitable Knave knew, this hunt would be the closest calls he'll ever have, experiencing not just near death, but an obliterating oblivion.

#Giantrobots.. #mecha. Who doesn't love them? I made some Unofficial #halo #Conceptart based off early concepts from halo's earliest days. The Client @uncannymisc.bsky.social wanted something that he could model. Full image will be posted on my portfolio, which I'll link in the future :)

the MYSTLETAINN, Powerful mecha armor made during the earliest days of the covenant-human war. It's based off of the earliest known files for halo's development back when it was an RTS, long before the 1999 Macworld demo!

It's cockpit would be a pylon like structure and my client theorized it could've been a precursor to the ODST drop pod.

Alternate "helmet" (head) designs for the mech-suit! Both are inspired by the combat evolved master chief helmet. Just in different styles. you can see numerous cameras and sensors behind the visor.
