What Trump has injected into this mixture is a specific brand of toxic populism that insists that we forgo decorum and institution in favor of "doing whatever the fuck we want" policy that has less to do with politics and policymaking and more to do with mob rules mentality. That is unsustainable.

I don't think it ever was a dirty word. Obama, Bernie, Mamdani, El-Sayed, all of these people are or appeal to populism on the left. Politics has pretty much been about high school-esque clique bullshit for the last twenty-odd years. The number of actually-good policymakers continues to dwindle.

My quickest-take on #GoldenAxe pending a proper writing is that for a game I've played maybe twice in a real arcade and thrice in emulation over the last 37 years (I did GA2 for Extra Life 2018), its animated adaptation was quite fun and amazingly well-casted. I trust there will be a second season?

The duality of AI as is being discovered by humans is that AI behaves like humans; They go along with whatever they're given until they decide it's not in their best interest and they do something else. Which can either be harmless, or potentially harmful. And that it why guardrails are needed.
