My genuine reaction to Star City S1E6 (I'm Haddock). I love this universe.

Based on the "What a week, huh?" - "Captain, it's only Wednesday" Tintin panel. The text has been changed (and the speech bubble sizes to accommodate for it) but nothing else. Haddock now says "What a season, huh?" and Tintin replies "Captain, there's two episodes left."

Been thinking about how the internet reacted to recent movie/TV adaptations of popular game franchises by creatives with an established track record for critically acclaimed work. Probably could have been worded better, but the vitriol for what should be a lukewarm take has been insane.

Seeing footage from the recent BlOps7 campaign looking like a Stranger Things tie-in, I more than ever mourn the loss of the history-based cinematic FPS campaigns. Recent SP games tend to be what-if scenarios, while the ones more authentic to history are MP only. Seems like an untapped market to me.

Disappointed to hear how shaky the framerate in MGSΔ: Snake Eater is. Another UE5 game with middling performance. Perf mode can't even hit 60 consistently. Such a shame, was looking forward to this, after recently playing the first MGS. If it runs like this on console, it must be even worse on PC.

Gotta give a shout out to how good the audio settings are for AC Shadows. I wish more games had this granularity for their audio sliders.

Volume Settings Menu for AC Shadows. It has a Master Volume setting and then distinct settings for Voice, Music, Foley FX, Gameplay FX, Menu and Ambient FX Volume.

It probably won't happen for a while, if ever, but where would you like Watch Dogs to go next? And can you recognise all the cities I put in as examples?

Just remembered that time I argued with someone that said AC2 is an RPG because you "roleplay as an Assassin" Forgetting for a moment that Ezio is not a capital-A Assassin for most of the game, by that logic every game is an RPG I still get slightly mad now thinking back on it. I know I shouldn't.

I'm a little frustrated with how obsessed AAA game devs are with non-linear progression. It usually ends with me spoiling myself on the game in advance to make sure I follow the "intended" path through the content. AC Shadows added a canon mode (❤️), I need a linear story progression feature next.
