Another "objective" measure of success could be to compare the score we got, to the median or average score of all valid words in the current situation. That way instead of "50% of the best word", you could show "260% of the average score!" and make people feel good about themselves

-Mostly out of curiosity, I think it'd be nice to have the best possible word (along with the point total) shown after you've locked in your answer. Maybe show a percentage to show how close you were to it, with a rating like "Great, you got over 50% of the best possible score here!"

Wishlisted! Some demo feedback: -the current music starts quiet but gets really loud once the percussions start to kick in, which for me happened during the choice of the modifier so I wasn't able to access the menu to turn it down

I was definitely a (self-inflicted) victim of a variant of the Matt Mercer effect. I didn't really have overblown expectations about the quality of my/my players' roleplay... but it took me years to realize my campaigns didn't have to be 100+ sessions long :p

v2 I don't really have a good way to add more colors (not exactly a graphic designer over here, I just put together good looking assets and fool people into thinking my books look good), but I think the main issue was differentiating between what the boxes represent

I'm trying a flowchart-style layout for the locations in my game's starter adventure. People who regularly run TTRPG modules, I need a vibe check on this - does this look easy to use? The 🔎 icon means info the player can get for free if they search. The square icons mean checks.
