NEW: Here is the preliminary reporting from the National Weather Service on the 5 tornado touchdowns yesterday. This was a classic Southeast Texas tornado day where most of the tornadoes were EF-0 or EF-1 strength and not on the ground for very long. More tornado aftermath stories at abc13.com.

#BREAKING: A "major" #earthquake (prelim. 7.0 magnitude) just struck off the coast of northern California with a "moderate" 5.8 earthquake inland north of San Francisco. A #Tsunami Warning is in effect for some of coastal California and Oregon, including San Francisco Bay. More to come on abc13.com.
