So much can be said about Tim Curry’s genius, but what amazed me was how resilient and present he was in his final years, despite his many physical challenges. He still made appearances, did interviews, cracked jokes, told stories, and graced us with his wit and wisdom. A truly brilliant gem.

Went to my first LAFC game yesterday and very much enjoyed it. We won (after a string of surprising losses)! They scored with 5 minutes left in the second half. Some pleasantly high stakes.

The big difference between Pokopia and Animal Crossing is when I play AC I walk around in a calm, zen state, and when I play Pokopia I’m constantly stressed (in a good way) seeing all the projects I need to start or finish. When will it end!? 😆

If you like some comedy sprinkled on your horror sundae, don’t skip Widow’s Bay on Apple+. It walks a wobbly tightrope of jokes and scares and makes it look easy. Not parody, but not too serious. A rare feat. 4 out of 10 episodes out so far. I’m LOVING it.

I recently revisited the 90s TMNT movies (with Milo). They still absolutely rock, but one thing that stood out was how underutilized Leonardo is. I feel the 3 others get more of a unique voice, but Leo’s just kinda “there.” Especially in the sequel. Ralph is almost the main character.

It’s interesting seeing people criticize the Lanterns teaser for choices I think make it satisfying. Namely the lack of green lights shooting everywhere. IMO it’s important to show the story can hold its own without all that, and save those kick ass moments for the main event. I’m hyped!

I have never gone from 60 to 0 with a franchise faster than GoT after that disastrous final season. Gave up on the books. Skipped HotD. But I gave this a shot and I’m SO GLAD I did. Wholesome and gruesome and very Westeros. The IP at its BEST IMO.

Huge fan of when AI ads generate a fake person to enthusiastically sell me their product. Bonus points if they’re on a talk show that doesn’t exist, or a Ted Talk that never happened. Nothing says “you’ll love this” like when you can’t find or pay a real person to convince me to spend money.
