Spent a chunk of the night trying to get the Win Streak title for Hal in Crossworld’s Miku Festival Finally managed it with a team entirely comprised of Whispers who we crushed everyone with The answer is always that lesbians can do anything

To be fair, I think the throttle control element's still consistent with OutRun 2 to some degree, but it's defo more akin to SEGA Rallys and Daytonas where the handling was less spline-y. Thinking about it that way immediately gave me an advantage (and let me curb-stomp everyone in the betas LOL)

020

Tracker_TD @tracker-td.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

The other thing is that only playing Festival probably won't give the best impression of the online matchmaking at first, bc it's a smorgasboard of skill levels rather than World Match trying to group similar ranks (though I started the lower ranks on SW2 the other day and mostly got bots)

Tracker_TD @tracker-td.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

(That short is kind of wonky, bc there are proper racing lines that mean you don't need to come off the gas *that* much, but it's defo the way to go when learning the layouts and stuff) Items are... yeah, particularly in festivals they can be a pain. Tornado and Bomb especially need nerfs.

Tracker_TD @tracker-td.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

www.youtube.com/shorts/XJ4oz... The handling model is really different to the other games, the SEGA Rally director was behind it IIRC so it's more akin to realistic car games... lots of emphasis on throttle control, which I love but I wish wasn't hamstrung by needing digital inputs bc of Switch

Jesus, can you fuck off? I get it, you don’t like it, and this is like the third time you’ve randomly decided to tell me - do you have it on a search tab or something? You don’t even follow me, just go talk to someone else about it killing your dog.

store.steampowered.com/app/2486820/... Once again, Sonic Racing Crossworlds is on sale. Standard version (no Season Pass) is down to £25.99, which is a pretty great price. Plus, it’s timed perfectly with the second Hatsune Miku Festival ingame, so you can make The Kaito Car™️ or the Meiko Mobile™️

A photo from the maid cafe at vexpo of two slices of cake, a Victoria sponge cake with an umbrella mascot (Victoria Roman) on it and a slice of chocolate cake with Mint Fantome on it. There is a Gigi murin grem mascot drawn on one plate and Sonic the hedgehog drawn on the other
