And it's all part of the process, I suppose. If we want to succeed as writers, we have to be willing to put ourselves out there and learn and be haunted just enough to keep improving. Which weirdly is exactly the theme of my opening chapter.

This is exactly me! I completely rewrote my opening chapter and changed the setting two days before the sub window. I know whatever advice comes from this will be helpful but also I am cringing.
